The Scientific Revolution

Before reading the first section of the Madison book I never thought about how  scientific growth could help countries and areas progress economically. The Scientific Revolution section in the Madison book helped connect new findings and inventions in the world of science and exploration with economic progress. How the Western European countries separated themselves from Asian countries through these new scientific revelations was another thing that caught my eye. You don’t usually think about observing outer space and the economy being intertwined, but in the 19th century that was the case. I also found how this age of science helped navigation in the seas easier, which helped with things like trade and expanding economies. After reading this I realized how many things can effect an economy that you wouldn’t normally consider.
