Impact of socialist economy in Cuba

In the 50s before the triumph of the Cuban revolution on 1959 in Cuba circulated through its streets many American cars. With the socialist regime imposed by the Cuban government to the island, relations with other countries were broken and did not enter to Cuba more vehicles. Today, many of these cars still work. These vehicles that are old classic cars for many Americans are just ways of transportation such as taxis for many Cubans.
