This Poll of 1,504 adults from Pew Research (published in USA Today):
2008: 53% identify themselves as Middle Class
2014: 44% identify themselves as Middle Class
The Middle class cannot afford homes in 20% of the nations areas. Home ownership is at it’s lowest level in 2 decades.
