I recently discovered an article about how the aid meant for helping poorer countries is flawed and is helping the rich more than the poor. The author states 3 major factors, the first being that poverty is not doping nearly as fast as we would have hoped but are told as such to continue the aid attempt. Second stating that the wealth flow is flowing in the wrong direction due to secondhand dwarfing, I.e. the costs of the flights to and fro is costing them more than what their getting, exponentially. Their third point stating that aid is more of a tool than anything else and is making those countries less independent. To be honest im a bit on the fencepost here though if I had to say im learning more into the publishers direction on some of these. I did not say anything word for word but summarized the point, and I could see myself in agreement.
