My name is Mavy Alvarez. I am from Cuba and I have been living in the US for more than 5 years. I have two sons (11 and 5). I am studying at LCC since 2010, I took many ESOL classes. I got a Microsoft Office specialist Certificate last spring and now I would like to get a computer Support specialist associate degree. In fact, my goals is to get a mater’s degree on science. I am graduate of Mechanical engineer in Cuba long time ago. It has been evaluated for ECE to be compare with an American’s degree. Until this I do not know if I can continue with my mechanical studies or no. Taking this class I expect to acquire all knowledge from it. I do not have to much free time because I am taking 3 online classes, I am full time employee at dart Container, but I will do my best effort to do it. I hope that everybody can do it.
