Book Store

Two of your assignments are to write book reviews of books relevant to the course.  Obviously the first step is to select your books and then obtain a copy of them.  That’s the purpose of this page.

NOTE: the list right now is the same as last year’s.  I will update it in next few dates with some newer titles.

You may choose any of the books on these pages or if you wish, you may suggest a title to me by email and I will consider it.

Disclaimer: You may get your book from any supplier, bookstore, or library.  If you do click through on the above links to Amazon and purchase from Amazon, a small commission (no increase in price) will be paid. All commissions received are donated to Malartu Inc, a non-profit organization that supports productivity improvement in higher education faculty

For my book review, I’d like to read Hoodwinked: An Economic Hit Man Reveals Why the Global Economy IMPLODED — and How to Fix It By John Perkins. Will this be okay? I just want to make sure before I buy it.

The book I chose for the reading assignment is: The Deep Economy: The wealth of communities and the durable future. This book was written by Bill Mckibben, an author, environmentalist, and activist.
