I find what Canada wants to do very interesting with a no strings attached cash grant to those in need. I think for the most part they can trust that the money will be spent on the proper things by families, but also I think there will always be some people on the other side of the spectrum who will spend it improperly whether its on drugs, alcohol or unnecessary expenses. Perfection is something that is unobtainable, but I have faith in people for the most part. I think the no strings attached idea is something that is worrisome, as it gives everyone free reign to spend it as they seem fit, and not everyone who receives this grant is going to be level headed. If anything it will boost morale amongst those in need as they feel trustworthy enough for this no strings attached money. It may even incite a moral responsibility inside those receiving to use the money correctly due to the faith put into them by the government.
