Future of Production

If large numbers of people began producing valuable things without demanding compensation it would mean there are large numbers of valued goods that are there for anybody who wants one, free of charge. Theres also an opportunity for somebody to make money of those valued goods by creating a price on the goods and making them harder to obtain. The idea of YouTube videos was a good current example of this. People make videos for the entertainment of others without demanding compensation from those who view them, but with ads being present the uploader can make money and so can YouTube. Outside of YouTube, if people started mass producing things like shoes or clothes, and gave them away for free it could take away from companies that require payment for those goods. There could be a number of consequences that could effect the economy in many ways.
