For Unit 1: You need to do these six things:

| Take Unit 1 quiz in D2L |
| Login, configure, explore, and customize your blog |
| Write your unit1 blog posts (see Jim’s Posts for directions) |
| Read your fellow students posts and comment as needed |
The 4th through 6th items all involve your blog. You need to wait until I post the instructions for how to access and post to your blog. They are coming soon.
To get points, you do these three things:
- Take the Unit 1 quiz of 5 multiple choice questions about the syllabus
- Log into your blog and familiarize yourself, maybe even customize it a bit.
- Make at least 2 posts to your blog, including a post about yourself.
The Unit 1 quiz must be done by Jan 25. The blog setup and posts need to be done by Feb 1.
If one of our posts is an “about me” type post, what should the other be about?
Normally (which means pretty much anytime after this week when I’m caught up with the back-end tech stuff and rolling with the real content/discussion), I’d tell you some suggested ideas/themes to do posts on for each unit. For now in Unit 1, just try doing another post on just about anything. Perhaps you could speculate on what you’re interested in studying in this course or why you’re taking it.
